Bauxite Senior Receives Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame Scholarship

Applicants for the scholarship had to write an essay to be eligible for the $1,000 scholarship. A distinguished panel of ASHOF Board members, some of whom are also ASHOF Inductees, screened all essays and chose from those the five that stood out on a merit above and beyond their competitors. Adrienne was one of these five. Her hard-work and intelligence shows through her success.

Adrienne has played basketball for Bauxite all four years and has ran track as well (2 mile). She is currently tied for Valedictorian of her class.Adrienne is the perfect example of the well-rounded and high-achieving student Bauxite has continued to produce throughout the years. We look forward to seeing her success branch into every arena she decides to enter beyond Bauxite High School. Bauxite is extremely proud of Ms. LaSage, and is proud to call her a Bauxite Miner.
