TRYOUT Information: You must have a current physical for ALL tryouts!

Jr. High Dance Tryouts: Friday, March 30 @ 8:00.

Boys Basketball

6th grade boys wanting to try out for basketball will meet with Coach Brakebill today at 11:35 in the old band room across from the counselor's office.  Students will report to 5th period and we will announce for them when it is time.

Current 6th grade boys:  April 16-17 @ 3:30-5:30 @ Dawson Gym

Current 7th & 8th grade boy Basketball tryouts are  Today & tomorrow @ 3:30-5:30 @ Harrell Gym

Girls Basketball-Sign up sheets are in the office.

Current 6th grade girls, tryouts are May 14 @ 3:30-5:00 @ Dawson Gym

Current 7th & 8th grade tryouts are April 11 @ 3:30-5:00 @ Dawson Gym

Girls Volleyball-Sign up sheets are in the office.

Current 6th grade girls,  VB tryouts are SAturday, March 31 @ 9:00-10:00  in Harrell Gym.

Current 7th & 8th grade, VB tryouts are Saturday, March 31 @ 10:00-11:30 in Harrell Gym.

Recycled Art Contest

Use recycled stuff to create art!  Be creative!

Projects will be displayed in the library until April 4, when a winner is chosen.

There will be a prize for first place here and the county winner will win a $100 gift card.The deadline to compete in this contest at our school will be April 4.

Mark your calendar!  Our End-of-Year ACT Aspire testing dates are set!

  • 6th grade- April 23-24  @7:50 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

  • 7th grade- April 25-26 @7:50 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.

  • 8th grade- April 30-May 1 @ 7:50 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.

There will be incentives for students who are at school on each day of testing and do not require make-up testing.  Please make every effort to schedule appointments for the afternoon during testing.

Please remember that our school policy follows the ADE Rules Governing Nutrition in Arkansas Public Schools by allowing parents to provide for their own child's lunch, snacks, and beverages but not for other children at school.

8.02.1 Parents’ Rights - This policy does not restrict what parents may provide for their own child’s lunch or snacks. Parents may provide competitive foods and/or beverages or candy items for their own child’s consumption, but they may not provide restricted items to other children at school.

Math Tutoring is being provided before and after school only on Tuesday

and Thursdays.  Tutoring is free.  You must have a permission slip signed

if you are staying after school.  Permission slips are in the office.  Times

are 7:00 a.m.-7:45 a.m. and 3:25p.m.-4:00p.m.
