  • 6th Grade GT will meet during advisory today.

  • Today is DEAR DAY during every ones advisory.

  • Middle school students will go to the high school to watch this year's spring play "Oklahoma" at 1:00 p.m. on April 19.  Students will pay $2 to their 1st period teacher & initial the collection envelope. Athletes may pay in the office.

  • Students,  Please DO NOT jump up and touch the exit signs hanging in the building.  We recently had to have them fixed due to damage. Thank you for your cooperation!  -Mrs. Arnold

TRYOUT Information: You must have a current physical for ALL tryouts!

Boys Basketball

Current 6th grade boys:  April 16-17 @ 3:30-5:30 @ Dawson Gym

Girls Basketball-Sign up sheets are in the office.

Current 6th grade girls, tryouts are May 14 @ 3:30-5:00 @ Dawson Gym

Current 7th & 8th grade tryouts are April 11 @ 3:30-5:00 @ Dawson Gym

Mark your calendar!  Our End-of-Year ACT Aspire testing dates are set!

  • 6th grade- April 23-24  @7:50 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

  • 7th grade- April 25-26 @7:50 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.

  • 8th grade- April 30-May 1 @ 7:50 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.

There will be incentives for students who are at school on each day of testing and do not require make-up testing.  Please make every effort to schedule appointments for the afternoon during testing.

Please remember that our school policy follows the ADE Rules Governing Nutrition in Arkansas Public Schools by allowing parents to provide for their own child's lunch, snacks, and beverages but not for other children at school.

  • 8.02.1 Parents’ Rights - This policy does not restrict what parents may provide for their own child’s lunch or snacks. Parents may provide competitive foods and/or beverages or candy items for their own child’s consumption, but they may not provide restricted items to other children at school.

Math Tutoring is being provided before and after school only on Tuesday

and Thursdays.  Tutoring is free.  You must have a permission slip signed

if you are staying after school.  Permission slips are in the office.  Times

are 7:00 a.m.-7:45 a.m. and 3:25p.m.-4:00 p.m.
