  • In effort to help transition 8th graders to Bauxite High School policies, the BMS library will begin charging late fees (.10 a day) for books/materials not returned on time this semester.  This applies to 8th Graders ONLY and will begin Monday, January 14, 2019.  The 8th graders have been informed of the changes and have had the opportunity to start with a cleared library account.  They will receive email reminders and overdue notifications.   • The January Philanthropy Project is a collection for Arkansas Children’s Hospital patients and their parents. This begins January 14 and will end on January 25.  Students please place your donations in the box in your advisory teacher’s classroom. List of items is in your email.

      Please help patients and their families at ACH by donating travel sized:  

  • Toothbrush

  • Mouthwash

  • Comb

  • Body wash

  • Shampoo/conditioner

  • Lotion

  • Deodorant

  • Small sewing kits

  • Small writing tablets and ink pens

  • NOTE: All donations must be new and in original packaging.

Don't forget about our recycling contest going on now.  We are collecting plastic shopping bags. The advisory class that turns in the most bags will receive a PIZZA PARTY! The contest begins NOW and goes through April 5. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Golleher.
