Bauxite's Sorvillo Finishes High School Career on the Podium

Joshua Sorvillo (2nd swimmer from the left) completed his high school swim career with a great showing at the AHSAA State Swim Meet in Bentonville this past Saturday.  Joshua competed in the 100 Butterfly and the 100 Breast Stroke.  He finished 4th in the 1-5A Division in the fly and finished as the state runner-up to a rival from Magnolia in the breast as he was out touched by 3 tenths of a second.  Although Joshua was disappointed after the meet, Bauxite is so proud of his accomplishments as he has helped to lay the foundation for future swimmers at Bauxite High School.  Josh was the 1-5A State Champion in 2 strokes as a junior and he qualified for 6 different events in the state meet as a senior (although, an individual can only swim in 2 events at the meet).  Joshua plans to continue his swim career next year at Henderson State University. Josh always showed what it meant to Be Bauxite!
