Dear Parents,
Every year the junior class is responsible for raising funds for prom. Juniors wanting to attend prom will pay a fee of $65.00 by March 1st. This fee will cover the cost of the souvenirs, decorations, DJ, facility rental/clean up, and one student ticket (a $15.00 value). Any senior that did not attend prom and pay the $65.00 fee their junior year will be required to pay the $65.00 fee in order to attend.
Formal Dress attire is required of all attendees. Boys may wear slacks and a jacket with tie or a tuxedo. Girls should choose modestly in regards to revealing cleavage and front or back slits on their dresses. No cut outs are allowed on stomachs. Any junior or senior bringing a date not currently enrolled as a Bauxite junior or senior must fill out a guest form and have their guest pre-approved by the high school administration. Guest forms must be submitted to the principal for approval by April 3, 2017. Prom is a school-sponsored event and all rules and regulations are in effect unless otherwise stated by the administration.
Prom will be held on Friday, April the 14th, at the Benton Event Center from 7 to 11pm. Juniors and Seniors may participate on the prom committee. Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from prom.
