Coach Lambert will lead his (16-12, 8-6 in 7-4A) Lady Miners into the 4A South Region this week at Dumas High School.  They have drawn the 2 seed Monticello Lady Billies (15-10) who come in winning 7 of 8 games to end the season.  They finished the 8-4A with a record of 9-5. Coach Lucy Williams brings in a squad averaging 53 ppg on the season.  They are lead by junior Kiara Franklin's 13.5 ppg.  The only common opponent for the teams this season was the Sheridan Lady Yellowjackets.  The Lady Miners defeated Sheridan in November 64-57 while Sheridan beat Monticello 55-39.  Thursday's game will tip at 4:00.  The winner will move on to play Friday at 4:00 against the winner of Fountain Lake and Dollarway.  Thursday's winner will also advance to next weeks 4A State Tournament at Malvern.
