First Bell Rings at 7:27 a.m.

Students Remember Bell to Bell No Cell

Students may not use personal electronic devices from the first bell of the day until the last bell of the day. This means no cell phones, wireless earbuds, smartphones and smartwatches, portable gaming consoles, tablets, laptops or notebook computers during class time, between classes or lunch.

ALL SCHOOL EVENTS/MEETINGS ARE SUBJECT TO DATE ~ TIME CHANGE OR CANCELLATION BY SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION

Students you are not allowed to go to the parking lot or a vehicle for any reason

During lunch or at any other time without permission from

Ms. Webb, Mr. Driggers or Dr. Knight

Students are NOT to sit in their vehicles after parking. Exit your vehicles and proceed to the High School.

Students you need to be at the bus immediately after the bell. The buses will be leaving and if you miss your bus you will have to find yourself a way home.

CLOSED CAMPUS

All schools in the District shall operate closed campuses. Students are required to stay on campus from their arrival until dismissal at the end of the regular school day unless given permission to leave the campus by a school official. Students must sign out in the main office upon their departure. Students may not check out to leave for lunch.

Students you are NOT allowed to order outside food and have it delivered to the school

Breakfast is free and will be served in the hallway of the main High School Building.

Snacks are free and will be served in the hallway of the main High School Building and Cafeteria.

BREAKFAST: Sausage, Egg and Cheese Croissant, Mini Pancakes, Fruit, Cereal and Graham Crackers, Juice and Milk

LUNCH: Chicken Stir Fry, Fried Rice, Fortune Cookie, Salad Bar, Ranch Cup, Fruit and Milk

LINE 2: Bacon Cheeseburger, Boneless Chicken Wings, French Fries, Stuffed Crust Cheese Pizza, Stuffed Crust Pepperoni Pizza and Milk

Students:

Students you need to check your school email several times a day for important information

Students you are to wear your Student ID Lanyards around your neck

If you would like to check out ebooks or audiobooks using your Chromebook, please check your school email for instructions on how to use the Sora Overdrive app. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Baxley in the library.

If you are interested in playing Esports, contact Mrs. Anderson by email and tell her what game you are interested in playing. Esports starts September 10.

The deadline to register for the October ACT is Friday, Sept. 12, we have plenty of room here at Bauxite to take the test.

If you would like to join the Miner Book Club, please check your email to sign up. This semester, we are reading The Naturals by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. We have planned some fun activities to go with the book, so don't miss out! Sign up today!

NHS will meet Friday, September 12. You can attend the 7am meeting in Mrs. Hilderbrands room or the 1st CAP meeting in the auditorium

Students check your email to see where you go for CAP/Advisory. RTI started, Tuesday, September 9th

Tuesday ~ Literacy

Wednesday ~ Math

Thursday ~ Science

Teachers take attendance for CAP/Advisory on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in RTI Scheduler. Friday take attendance in TAC. Teachers have students check emails during 1st and 2nd periods

The Chess Tournament will begin on Friday during CAP in the library. Please check your email or the library doors to see when you play.

Senior Pictures Make Up will be September 25 in the Auditorium
