First Bell Rings at 7:27 a.m.

Students Remember Bell to Bell No Cell

Students may not use personal electronic devices from the first bell of the day until the last bell of the day. This means no cell phones, wireless earbuds, smartphones and smartwatches, portable gaming consoles, tablets, laptops or notebook computers during class time, between classes or lunch.

ALL SCHOOL EVENTS/MEETINGS ARE SUBJECT TO DATE ~ TIME CHANGE OR CANCELLATION BY SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION

Students you are not allowed to go to the parking lot or a vehicle for any reason

During lunch or at any other time without permission from

Ms. Webb, Mr. Driggers or Dr. Knight

Students are NOT to sit in their vehicles after parking. Exit your vehicles and proceed to the High School.

Students you need to be at the bus immediately after the bell. The buses will be leaving and if you miss your bus you will have to find yourself a way home.

CLOSED CAMPUS

All schools in the District shall operate closed campuses. Students are required to stay on campus from their arrival until dismissal at the end of the regular school day unless given permission to leave the campus by a school official. Students must sign out in the main office upon their departure. Students may not check out to leave for lunch.

Students you are NOT allowed to order outside food and have it delivered to the school

Breakfast is free and will be served in the hallway of the main High School Building.

Snacks are free and will be served in the hallway of the main High School Building and Cafeteria.

BREAKFAST: Sausage, Egg and Cheese Muffin, Honey Bun, Fruit, Cereal and Graham Crackers, Juice and Milk

LUNCH:

LINE 1: Mexican Chicken, Tortilla Chips, Refried Beans, Salsa Cups, Sugar Cookie, Fruit, Salad, Ranch Dressing and Milk

LINE 2: Hot and Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Chicken Sandwich, French Fries, Cheese Pizza, Pepperoni Pizza and Milk

Students you need to check your school email several times a day for important information

Students this is a reminder that blankets are not allowed at school. If it is cold or raining you are allowed to go in the cafeteria before school

The Saline County Career and Technical Campus will be closed Monday, January 19th, in observance of MLK Day.

Do you like making videos, podcasts, animations, or taking pictures? The 2026 AAIM Student Media Festival is a FREE statewide competition, and the deadline is February. Our school has been winning since 2017! For details, check your email or visit the BHS Virtual Library or see Mrs. Baxley in the library.

The Chess, Checkers, and Jenga Tournaments are happening TODAY in the library during both CAPs. If you are entered, be sure to check your email or the library doors to see your game time. Good luck—and game on!

Attention students:

Anyone interested in cheer or dance is invited to attend a spirit team information meeting on Sunday, January 18 at 3:00 PM in Dawson Gym. A parent or guardian must attend in order to sign up.

Additionally, male athletes entering grades 9–12 are invited to a short practice on Tuesday, January 20 from 4:30–5:30 PM in Harrell Gym. Attending does not mean you are signing up or committing.
