First Bell Rings at 7:27 a.m.

Students Remember Bell to Bell No Cell

Students may not use personal electronic devices from the first bell of the day until the last bell of the day. This means no cell phones, wireless earbuds, smartphones and smartwatches, portable gaming consoles, tablets, laptops or notebook computers during class time, between classes or lunch.

ALL SCHOOL EVENTS/MEETINGS ARE SUBJECT TO DATE ~ TIME CHANGE OR CANCELLATION BY SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION

Students you are not allowed to go to the parking lot or a vehicle for any reason

During lunch or at any other time without permission from

Ms. Webb, Mr. Driggers or Dr. Knight

Students are NOT to sit in their vehicles after parking. Exit your vehicles and proceed to the High School.

Students you need to be at the bus immediately after the bell. The buses will be leaving and if you miss your bus you will have to find yourself a way home.

CLOSED CAMPUS

All schools in the District shall operate closed campuses. Students are required to stay on campus from their arrival until dismissal at the end of the regular school day unless given permission to leave the campus by a school official. Students must sign out in the main office upon their departure. Students may not check out to leave for lunch.

Students you are NOT allowed to order outside food and have it delivered to the school

Breakfast is free and will be served in the hallway of the main High School Building.

Snacks are free and will be served in the hallway of the main High School Building and Cafeteria.

BREAKFAST: Sausage, Egg and Cheese Croissant, Mini Pancakes, Fruit, Cereal and Graham Crackers, Juice and Milk

LUNCH

LINE 1: Frito Chili Pie, Corn on Cob, Fruit, Salad, Ranch Dressing and Milk

LINE 2: Bacon Cheeseburger, Corn Dog, RollCheese Pizza, Pepperoni Pizza and Milk

Students:

Students you need to check your school email several times a day for important information

There are a lot of yearbook surveys from Mrs. McDade that are going out. Be sure you fill them out!

Boys’ basketball tryouts will be held on Thursday, April 30th from 4:00-5:30pm in Dawson gym

We will give the ATLAS Summative Assessments next week, Tuesday, April 28th through Friday, May 1st. This test will begin in 1st period each morning so please be on time. The students testing include all 9th and 10th grade students for English Language Arts and all students currently taking Algebra I, Geometry, and Biology. Rest up and do your best on the test!

Breakfast will be available as Grab-N-Go in the hallways for students testing at 7:25 each morning. Students who are not testing can pick up breakfast at the regular time in the cafeteria.

Both chromebooks and chargers must be returned before seniors will be signed out next Friday. If you have lost or broken your charger, the cost to replace is $20.

Congratulations:

Congratulations to Madalyn Bennett and Ms. Holt for completing the Read Around the USA Book Challenge! Along the way, they have earned prizes for their progress, and this spring they will be treated to a special off-campus lunch. The challenge ends Friday.
