First Bell Rings at 7:27 a.m.
Students Remember Bell to Bell No Cell
Students may not use personal electronic devices from the first bell of the day until the last bell of the day. This means no cell phones, wireless earbuds, smartphones and smartwatches, portable gaming consoles, tablets, laptops or notebook computers during class time, between classes or lunch.
ALL SCHOOL EVENTS/MEETINGS ARE SUBJECT TO DATE ~ TIME CHANGE OR CANCELLATION BY SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION
Students you are not allowed to go to the parking lot or a vehicle for any reason
During lunch or at any other time without permission from
Ms. Webb, Mr. Driggers or Dr. Knight
Students are NOT to sit in their vehicles after parking. Exit your vehicles and proceed to the High School.
Students you need to be at the bus immediately after the bell. The buses will be leaving and if you miss your bus you will have to find yourself a way home.
CLOSED CAMPUS
All schools in the District shall operate closed campuses. Students are required to stay on campus from their arrival until dismissal at the end of the regular school day unless given permission to leave the campus by a school official. Students must sign out in the Main office upon their departure. Students may not check out to leave for lunch.
Students you are NOT allowed to order outside food and have it delivered to the school
Breakfast is free and will be served in the hallway of the main High School Building.

Join the Million Word Club and earn prizes and lunch off campus this spring! Challenge yourself to read 1,000,000 words this school year! School Day Pictures for grades 9th through 11th grade will be on Tuesday, September 8
Senior Picture makeup day will be Thursday, September 10
A Rep from SSR will be on campus September 1st to take orders for Letter Jackets. Packets are in the High School Office
The theme for Friday Night Football is “Land of the Free, Home of the Miners” wear your best USA attire
If you have not received an ID, check with your CAP teacher. If they do not have it, then see Mrs. Anderson in room 304.
Run for Class Office!
Want to make this year unforgettable? Take the lead and make your mark! Sign up in the library to run for a class officer: the roles are: president, vice president, secretary, treasurer
Requirements: 3.0+ GPA and in good standing with the school
Election Day will be Friday Sept 4 from 11:45-12:45 through a link in your email. Ask Mrs. Mode for any additional questions.
The Chess Tournament starts today in the library during both CAPs! Please check your email or the brackets on the library doors to see if you play. Good luck, and may the best player win!
