Bauxite's junior/senior prom went off without a hitch Saturday night at the Benton Events Center. Mrs. Peters along with several other staff members and students who make up the prom committee did a great job setting up the prom and running a wonderful dance. The students looked amazing as always. The girls came flowing in wearing stunning dresses and the guys looked sharp in their tuxes and suites. Several interesting additions to the prom attire seen this year were 4 different students in cowboy hats, 3 fellas in sporty high top sneakers and several students in boots, chucks and vans. Three groups of students showed up in style in "Party Buses." Several students wore vintage 50's attire and best dress student Thomas Cross gave off a Jack White vibe with a sweet jacket and sharp fedora. Some of the other awards and highlights are as follows:
