Due to recent threats to a number of school districts in Arkansas. The Bauxite School District has been on alert and has increased the presence of deputies from the Saline County Sheriff's Department on the campuses. The District has a robust CSSO program with a number of trained personnel who will respond to any potential threat. There are countless other safety measures in place to keep your students safe. Our priority is always safety for our students and staff.

The Bauxite School District has partnered with ESS for substitute services. This includes paraprofessionals, substitute teachers, registered nurses, custodians, and food service workers. Reach out to ESS to sign up.
