Miner families, Benton Utilities will be turning off water to the city of Bauxite tomorrow afternoon for maintenance and repairs. Bauxite Schools will be dismissing at 1:30 Tuesday, May 16. Buses will be running at 1:30; the early bus will run at 1:00. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause our families.

Parents, the water was out at the school momentarily, but it has been restored. There was a leak on Gattin Road in Benton that affected Bauxite water. We are going to cover the water fountains out of an abundance of caution, but we have not been notified we are under a boil order. The cafeterias used reserved water in preparing meals, so lunches will not be affected. We wanted to make parents aware, but school is continuing as normal. Have a great day, Miner families!
